At Tactical Strength & Conditioning, our performance-training programs are designed to decrease the risk of injury and enhance performance by increasing power and movement efficiency.

In sports, an athlete's ability to react and explode in any direction at any given time is critical.  Our programs focus on training an athlete to develop powerful movements in all planes of motion: side-to-side, forward-and-backward, and rotational.  Developing power will allow an athlete to jump higher, run faster, and change directions quicker.

We emphasize movement efficiency and injury prevention by developing body awareness and proper biomechanics.  We train our athletes to become consciously aware of their body position and to practice safe and efficient movements until they become second nature.

Training Sessions

Before you begin your training program, you will have a consultation with a performance coach to establish your goals.  Next, you will be guided through a pre-program performance evaluation to determine postural alignment and muscle imbalances, and given various speed, agility, power, endurance, and strength tests geared towards your sport's individual movement needs.  Based on your goals and performance evaluation, we will develop a customized program to fit your needs.

The training sessions will include:

  • Pillar Strength (Core Strength) and Balance
  • Movement Preparation
  • Movement Training / Power Development
  • Total Body Strength Training
  • Energy System Development
  • Regeneration / Recovery
You will also be assessed throughout your training to monitor your progress.  The amount of time spent in each section will vary based upon the needs of the individual and the phase of training.
