We design training programs based on the most current strength and conditioning research, e.g. Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research, Journal of Applied Physiology, Journal of Biomechanics, Medicine & Science in Sports and Exercise
  • Expert Coaching
Our coaches have a solid foundation of strength training principles, including academic and professional credentials of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field, plus certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  We continue to further our knowledge through professional development activities; attending national conferences and clinics that focus on strength training and performance enhancement, including mentoring under Mark Verstegen, founder and president of Athletes’ Performance

Athletes are trained one-on-one or in small groups, ensuring that each exercise is performed safely and effectively. We get to know our athletes and learn how to motivate them. Our training programs are challenging, but we like to have fun. Many of our athletes are high school students and we feel that it is important that parents are involved throughout the process. We encourage parents to observe training sessions, ask questions and are kept up-to-date with their child's progress. We believe that open communication is essential to developing a close working relationship with our athletes and families and to bring out the best in each athlete.

Our clients range in age, sports, and skill level. No matter what your goal is, at Tactical Strength & Conditioning we will develop a program tailored just for you. Each athlete's training is individually designed to improve performance in such areas as power, agility and endurance. Improvements in these areas translate to improved performance in their respective sports; our athletes become stronger, quicker, and improve their overall physical condition.

Our facility creates an environment that fosters optimal performance. Athletes are actively engaged in their training, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. We want our athletes to work not only with the best coaches, but also the best equipment. Utilizing equipment from performance equipment leaders such as Keiser, Woodway, Power Lift, TP Technologies, PowerBlock. Our athletes train on the best equipment designed specifically to increase power production and athletic performance.
